Outlook, Skype, Teams, and Xbox Live are all unavailable due to a severe outage at Microsoft.

A widespread service outage has impacted not one, but multiple Microsoft services in the past several hours. We can see that Outlook, Skype, Teams, and even the Microsoft Store are not functioning regularly.

It’s not your phone or computer, but these Microsoft services are unavailable to all users globally, with options ranging from total disablement to restricted function.

Microsoft services are unavailable.

Several Microsoft services have ceased operating altogether or have stopped performing regularly as of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 (with regard to our Spanish peninsular time).

According to Downdetector.com, Microsoft rapidly recognized the mistake and is examining the reasons of this network failure in order to restore service to normal as soon as possible in services such as Skype, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Store, Microsoft 365, or Xbox Live.

Skype, Outlook, and Teams are all malfunctioning.

Many employees may have realized that many of the products they use on a daily basis at the corporate level, such as the Outlook email manager or the Skype or Teams internet and video chatting capabilities, have stopped functioning.

Microsoft has not yet specified a period when services will be restored, which may impact millions of employees worldwide.

In terms of entertainment, the failure impacts Xbox Live, which affects online gaming sessions, discussions with friends, sharing and streaming, downloading digital games or synchronization of stored games in the cloud, as well as displaying user accomplishments correctly.
